Guestbook layout using layout form
You can define the layout of your guestbook by two alternative methods ( i
): using layout form or using page template ( i ). Form layout is easier to use of the two and
it is also the default setting for new guestbooks.
When your guestbook uses form layout the Layout (m) section of the Guestbook Management page
consists of the following pages:
- Settings (m)
General settings regarding the guestbook
layout (e.g. guestbook language, the number of messages to be displayed in one
page)
- Question Fields (m)
In this page you
can define what questions will be asked in the 'Sign the Guestbook' page.
- Colors and Images (m)
Here you can
define background color or -picture as well as all other similar settings.
- Texts (m)
In the Texts page you can write the title
and other texts of the guestbook.
To each form field write the asked value as it would appear in a
regular HTML document.
If you can't make the guestbook look the way you want, you can
switch to Template
layout ( i ).
Changing the guestbook colors using Form layout
The
Colors and Images (m) management page allows you to change guestbook's:
- background color
- font
- text color
- link colors
- reply color
- background image and type (fixed)
- header image and alignment
- CSS code (external or embedded)
- type of the guestbook message separator line
On the Colors and Images page the color codes are used in the same way
as in a regular HTML file. For example if you want to change your
guestbook's text color to red fill the "Text color" field as follows;
Color Codes ( i ) page contains
some codes that you can use on your guestbook.
