The number of messages that the guestbook can hold is limited as follows:

• 500 guestbook messages
• 250 private messages
• 250 messages waiting
• 250 archived messages

The message limit can be increased by using the limit multiplier (m) on the paid options screen. E.g. doubling the message limits to 1000 guestbook messages (and 500 other types of messages) will cost 300 credits ( i ) (= 30 cents) / month.

Additionally, plus guestbooks ( i ) have space for 500 extra guestbook messages for a total of 1000 messages (without the limit multiplier). Plus feature does not increase the limit for other message types. If plus feature and message limit multiplier are used together, both increase the guestbook message limit.

After the limits have exceeded old messages are either removed or archived automatically as new messages are written. You can define what happens to the oldest messages in the Message Settings (m) section of the Guestbook Management screen.
