Freebok started out in early 1998 as a free guestbook service (hence the name). Guestbooks remained our only service for quite long time. This enabled us to take feedback from the users and implement requests quite fast.

In the August of 2002 Freebok experienced an extensive update. According to feedback the guestbooks were not enough for many of our users. In many cases guestbooks were used as simple discussion tools or for other purposes. This was taken into account when designing the update. Now Freebok has the following services:

Member services ( i )

Freebok members may send messages to eachother in the Freebok management pages. You can use a feature called Friend List to keep track of your acquaintances. You will be able to see who is online and send private messages to them.

Discussion ( f )

The discussion area is used as a demonstration of the Freebok forums. Also forums for general discussion will be created if there is enough interest for that in the Freebok community.

Guestbooks ( i )

Freebok guestbooks will allow you to add a guestbook to your homepage. The guestbook service has grown to be quite feature rich, yet using the service is simple.

Forums ( i )

The forum service will allow you to add a discussion board to your homepage. At the moment the forum service is under beta testing.

Other

We are always open to suggestions for new services and improvements to the existing ones. New features are added as often as time resources will allow us to implement them. These items are already on the wishlist:
